"The awesome 2010 Catena Zapata Adrianna Vineyard has me daydreaming of Gualtallary and the amazing Adrianna vineyard...The combination of high altitude and calcium carbonate-rich soils produces wines that are both intense and fresh, true to their origin", Luis Gutierrez, Wine Advocate April 2014.

We at Catena Zapata have long believed that every wine begins in the vineyard. In this spirit we began, in 1983, a pioneering research project into the microclimates of Mendoza, Argentina.

Through the planting of carefully selected plant selections in various high altitude vineyard sites, we were able to identify the ideal locations for our beloved family vineyards.

Bodega Catena has released the following vintage reports: 1997, 1998, 19992000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015
