The 2005 Alamos Cabernet shows a deep ruby reddish, purple color. The wine offers an intense and concentrated nose of red berry fruit mixed with touches cedar, mint and sweet spice. The palate is full of ripe, concentrated red currant and cassis fruit flavors with notes of cigar box and spicy black pepper. The finish is long and structured, with finely grained tannins.
