Tasting Notes

Fact Sheet

Angelica Zapata Cabernet Franc Alta 2006 offers a dark red ruby colour with light shades of violet. The nose is intense, packed with ripe red currant fruit laced with sweet spice and vanilla. On the palate, a sweet velvety attack leads to a wine of concentrated ripe red berries with a touch of eucalyptus and black pepper. Elegant and well balanced, has a long, lingering finish. This wine is made to be enjoyed now and over the next 15 years.
