Tasting Notes

Fact Sheet

Angélica Zapata Malbec 2003 is a blend of Malbec grapes sourced from different vineyards: the result is a wine of great concentration and elegance. The Angélica vineyard offers ripe plum flavors with a soft, supple mouthfeel. La Pirámide lends delicate hints of rose petals and spicy black pepper. Altamira provides elegance and a flavor profile of ripe black berries and floral notes. Lot 3 from Adrianna is intensely floral while lot 9 provides a deeply violet color and a long persistent finish of cassis flavors. These five elements contribute to wonderful complexity in the final blend.
Angélica Malbec is ideal with Argentine beef barbecue.
