Tasting Notes

Fact Sheet

Angélica Zapata Merlot 2002 offers a brillant red ruby colour. It is an elegant and complex wine, with a refined nose: Jammy red fruit with a touch of spice is provided by La Pirámide Vineyard, while ripe black and red berry fruit is added by the grapes sourced from La Consulta and Adrianna Vineyards. Slight hints of vainilla add complexity to its wonderful fragance. On the palate, a soft sweet attack leads to a medium-bodied wine of balanced acidity and soft, rounded tannins. The finish is long and lingering.
